I joined Black Swan last year with a simple brief. To help our customers unleash the power of our data through Trendscope, our trends platform.
Backed by a talented team of engineers and product designers and armed with feedback from users inside the world’s leading CPGs, we set out to build the next generation of insights tech.
Over the past few months, we’ve been revamping the UI and creating new features to help make Trendscope more intuitive, more intelligent and more user-friendly.
I’m now thrilled to share the release of the new Trendscope homepage!
In this short blog I'm going to walk you through the new features, and share what's coming next from our product roadmap.
What's New?
Light Mode
The first thing you will notice when you log into Trendscope is the interface. Say goodbye to the dark visuals! We’ve introduced light mode to make the homepage a little more accessible.
Insights Cards
Get fresh insights every time you log in! The Insights Cards feature a curation of our newest, most compelling insights from different categories to help you keep track of emerging trends.
Quick Reports
Users can now generate instant trend and flavor reports using our AI-powered Quick Reporting suite. In less than a minute and in just a few clicks, users can create presentation-ready PPT decks that give a 360° overview of an emerging trend or topic or mapping your next big flavor innovation.
Insights Hub
Alongside the reports suite sits our Insights Hub, a curated library of expert thought-leadership spanning the CPG landscape. Inside you can find foresight reports, peering into the future of a category alongside best-practice guides for insights and innovation. The Hub is designed to give you quick and easy knowledge whether you’re in deep strategy or just looking for inspiration.

Early testing and feedback from customers has been extremely positive and really energizing for the product team!
Many users have already started exploring how to roll out access to broader insights, innovation and marketing teams, democratizing our data across their organization.
